Nadezhda Nasakina, teacher of additional education at Gymnasium No. 45, formerly a journalist:
The training was interesting for me, not only as a teacher but also as a journalist. I made a lot of insights for myself. These days, teachers are increasingly going online and are increasingly exposed to online technology, and of course, they need to understand it. This helps reduce some anxiety, and it certainly gives them new tools for interacting with children. I liked the theme of teacher publicity. It's a controversial issue that I want to talk about again and again. But everyone decides for himself how public he wants to be for the students. It was interesting to learn about Wikipedia too.
I teach journalism to children, so I brought my students to the workshop of the project. Media literacy is important; children need to know how to behave on the Internet when such a large part of our life is spent in virtual space.
